Preparation for the Test d’évaluation de français (TEF)
Are you planning to take the TEF soon? These online workshops will give you the opportunity to prepare and maximize your chances of passing your test. The workshops are offered for the listening comprehension test and the oral expression test. Required technological resources are a computer or tablet (with camera) and Internet access.
Who are these workshops for?
Anyone wishing to prepare for the TEF tests by familiarizing themselves with their formats and technical aspects. The minimum level of French proficiency required is intermediate B1+.
Workshop objectives
- Develop listening or reading strategies.
- Acquire techniques to manage the test time.
- Improve your language skills.
Oral Comprehension Workshop
Duration: 12 hours
Online via Zoom.
Dates:
Saturday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am (Montréal time)
May 17 to June 21, 2025
Registration deadline: May 8, 2025
Cost: $200
The minimum level of French proficiency required is intermediate B1+. Check if your French in oral comprehension achieves the B1+ level: Take the self-test
Registration – Oral Comprehension Workshop
Note: Each workshop accommodates a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 16 candidates. The workshop will be cancelled if the minimum number of registrations is not reached. In that case, you will be notified one week before and a refund will be made.
Oral Expression Workshop
Duration: 12 hours
Online via Zoom.
Dates:
Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7:30 pm (Montréal time).
May 13 to June 5, 2025
Registration deadline: May 2, 2025
Cost: $200

Cancellation Policy
Registration is final. The registration fees you pay are non-refundable. In the event of a special situation (death of a parent, illness, professional reason), please send your request accompanied by proof to centretests@fep.umontreal.ca.
